It’s my last night in Wisconsin.  Very bittersweet.  There is so much I need to do with myself when I get back to LA.  But it’s great to come home as see people you will always be friends with, who need no explanation to account for lost time.

So I saw Avatar.
It’s exactly what you would expect.  However Cameron is the best filmmaker in his class.  Way better than Lucas or Jackson.  The story may be simple, but you can actually follow it.  There is a ton of CG, but it all serves the story, down to every last creature.  You won’t get Jedi fighting a snow creature and a lizard in the same arena here.
